Last night was awesome. The Adam Brown is awesome. But I say that everytime I see them. Captains suck, hardcore. The Sunday Sinners were quite good, I think the only thing that made me not like them a ton was a) the sound and b) the singer seemed pissed off. I missed Bionic, it helps if I can catch the last metro home. But I went back (part way) with Bobby, aka guy I met at Wolf Parade.

Girls night tonight. Me + [info]hallo_spacegirl [info]manandwife and [info]zombiess. Vodka. My baby (the camera). Cake from what I know. Belated birthday celebrations. If only [info]rejectedblyss could come too.

Last night blew. I went for like 20 minutes. The crowd was all these PQiste people. A lot of them anti-Anglo. I didn't feel safe. Scared to speak. I heard a lot of Anglo bashing and stuff. TWA (the first band) is VERY political. Not too sure about the other one though. But yeah, I was downtown for all of 20 minutes. And spent like 10$ (Pepsi, gum, coat check, and a beer. Oh, and 99cent pizza).

I think that's all.

So, what did Pam do today?

I helped build a set for some music video being filmed this weekend. I'm seeing said band play at L'Hemisphere Gauche demain, GRATUIT!

I don't think I was much help though ... in the three hours I was there I cut out the fabric for a table (the set is "trompe d'oeil" ... don't know it in English). All the furniture and stuff is made from cardboard, with newspapers glued to it, fabric attached, that sort of thing. It's pretty neat.

Yesterday I ran into KATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at Cote-Vertu which was beyond randomly awesome. And today I hung out in the Walmart Photo Lab whilst Paul tried to print my crossprocessed slide film. It didn't work. SO Kate, I'm going in Sunday afternoon. You're printing. I'm watching. D'accord?

Now I'm gonna go play with Photoshop. Cause that's fun.
